The National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR) settled the first competition in the new edition of programme. 41 companies will receive support to enable them to introduce and develop their innovative products and services on foreign markets.
On 16 November Jarosław Gowin took the office of the Minister of Science and Higher Education. He holds a PhD in political sciences and is a co-founder and longtime Rector of Tischner European University in Cracow.
Polish researchers can now use the website of the Polish American Innovation Programme. It is a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. The platform enables collaboration and contact of Polish science with American investors.
On 27-28 October 2015 Gdańsk hosted Innovative Europe conference, organized by the founders of the Coalition for Polish Innovations (KPI).
An innovative way of processing waste biomass, an intelligent method of assessing the physiological status of the plant using multispectral imaging or an increased safety and quality of marine food - these are but some of the 14 projects that will receive funding in the second competition...

Innovative IT systems, reducing the impact of rail on the environment, more efficient infrastructure maintenance and modernisation as well as improved comfort and safety of passengers - these are the main targets of the joint research programme of the Polish Railways (PKP PLK SA) and the NCBR.
